Communication & Reporting
Compass is the official communication tool for St Patrick’s Primary School.
You can download the Compass app to your smartphone to receive regular updates and information about school events. Each parent/carer will be given a unique login upon enrolment to access the content for our school.
As a parent/carer, you’ll have the ability to:
- Receive notifications about school events, news and information
- Enter an explanation for absences
- Communicate with your child’s teachers,
- Update your family contact details
- View the school calendar
- Download and view your child’s academic reports
- Pay and provide digital consent for events
- Pay school fees
- Book parent-teacher conferences (parent/teacher interviews).
Reports are published via Compass in Week 9 of Terms 2 and 4. Parents are able to access these reports through Compass whilst they are enrolled at our school. We encourage parents to download each report.
St Patrick’s Primary School uses Facebook to showcase and celebrate our whole school community through our public page.
Our private Facebook groups are to celebrate, inform and provide a forum for parents to clarify information. These groups are monitored and reset at the beginning of each school year. Only parents of children within the stage are allowed access to the group. Instructions on how to access the group will be provided in the school Newsletter.
Our social media aims to create an environment where our community can safely engage in conversation and are free to make comments and questions. We ask that anyone engaging with our social media show courtesy, kindness and respect for all other members of our school.
