Transition to School

St Patrick’s Primary School offers a Transition to School program called ‘Little Shamrocks’ that begins in the September of the year before the child starts Kindergarten. 

The Little Shamrocks Program is optional. It is a wonderful opportunity for the child to begin their transition to St Patrick’s Primary School. The program allows the child and family to interact within our school environment, as well as the opportunity to develop the child’s early numeracy and literacy skills. 

In addition to the Little Shamrocks, the child will take part in an orientation program of one half and two full days. All of our translation and orientation days are held on Mondays.
