Our Parish

The Nambucca Valley Parish consists of four Churches; Christ the King in Taylors Arm, Corpus Christi in Bowraville, Our Lady Star of the Sea in Nambucca Heads and St Patrick’s in Macksville. We would like to welcome any new and existing members of the Parish and invite you to join us. We have a strong connection with St Patrick’s Primary School, and enjoy regularly spending time with the students in and out of the classroom. We lead liturgical celebrations with the school and support the teachers and get to know the students outside of the Church. Every parish member is invited to work together to become a beacon of hope as we proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and seek to build strong faith-based communities. Our worshipping together to celebrate the Eucharist and the other Sacraments with joy in our hearts is faithful to our Catholic tradition. 

In 1998 the four Churches of Christ the King in Taylors Arm, Corpus Christi in Bowraville, Our Lady Star of the Sea in Nambucca Heads and St Patrick’s in Macksville came together to become the Nambucca Valley Parish. Our Diocese stretches from Tweed Heads to Kyogle and down to Port Macquarie-Camden Haven.
